Do you want to lead, develop, and drive the work of creating sustainable and well-maintained outdoor environments? We are looking for an engaged and experienced Operations Manager (Outdoor Maintenance) who wants to take responsibility for planning, quality, and work leadership within outdoor maintenance.

About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for leading and developing the operational activities within outdoor maintenance. You ensure that maintenance assignments are carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality – and that resources are used smartly and sustainably. The role is both strategic and operational, meaning you work closely with the field operations while driving planning, follow-up, and development.

You report to the Contracting Manager and collaborate closely with foremen, machine operators, clients, and other stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for planning, control, economics, and follow-up of outdoor maintenance
• Operational leadership and coordination of foremen, machine operators, and maintenance staff
• Planning of seasonal initiatives and readiness for winter and summer seasons
• Establishing seasonal plans, schedules, and resource allocation
• Ensuring quality and following up on completed work
• Identifying opportunities for development and efficiency
• Personnel responsibility and development of employees
• Working with work environment, safety, and compliance with routines and legal requirements
• Participating in budget work and follow-up of operating costs
• Serving as the contact person for contractors, clients, customers, and other actors
• Initiating and following up on defect reports, planned maintenance, and measures
• Actively contributing to the strategic development of the business
• Combining office work with operational presence in the maintenance areas

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in work leadership within outdoor maintenance
• Education from a Natural Resources High School (Gardening) or post-secondary gardening education (minimum 2 years), or equivalent competence
• Class B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic understanding of budget and economic follow-up
• Merits:
